TempDot® Plus time-temperature indicator labels can be conveniently placed on outer cartons, secondary shipping boxes, or product packaging to continuously track temperature conditions at the pallet level, on single cartons, or individual units. Shipments can be monitored from suppliers and manufacturers, through distribution centers, wholesalers, and during the last mile down to end users. Upon arrival, receivers can use the labels’ visual indication of accumulated temperature abuse as a tool to make immediate decisions regarding whether to reject or accept a shipment, and end users can decide whether to use or discard a product.

TempDot® Plus features a unique serial number, adding traceability to temperature abuse information to help customers meet state and federal regulatory requirements, such as the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) and the FDA Fish and Fishery Products Hazards and Controls Guidance. The labels are available in various temperature thresholds and run out times. They can be used for many types of temperature sensitive commodities, including food, pharmaceuticals, and biologics.

TempDot® Plus are time- temperature indicator labels for monitoring temperature sensitive products during transport, storage, and handling as they travel through the supply chain. These low-cost single-use temperature indicators will detect ascending temperature excursions that can impact the quality and shelf life of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals, biologics, and foods such as produce, seafood, and meat. An irreversible color change occurs as each model monitors the cumulative amount of time the label is exposed to temperature above its threshold. The label also features unique graphics, including an activation window which shows the word “ON” to verify when it has been successfully activated.
